Wehrmacht (Heer) General's Field Blouse as intended for a 'Generalmajor'. The German Officer’s service tunic followed the basic design of the Enlisted Men/NCO’s field blouse, the most readily visible difference (besides the insignia) are the turned up French cuffs. Nice quality, 'privately purchase' M36-style field-grey woolen tunic with dark-green collar and red piping around the collar, sleeves and front closure panel. The buttons are all the gold coloured pebbled examples. The tunic is complete with a pair of shoulder-boards of the sew-in type as intended for the rank of 'Generalmajor', a pair of General's collar tabs and a nicely hand-embroidered General's breast-eagle which is nicely hand-applied. There are loops to the wearer's left breast-pocket to attach one award and the tunic comes with a long sized ribbon bar as found. Inside the tunic is a tailor label of tailor 'Strohmeier' from Nürnberg. The tunic shows normal traces of usage and some minor (moth)damages.
