WH (Heer) M36 NCO's Field Blouse & Stone Grey Trousers
Description
Wehrmacht (Heer) NCO's M36 Field Blouse (Feldbluse M36) & Stone Grey Breeches (Steingraue Hose). The development of the M36 field blouse can be traced back to April 1933 with the introduction of the first pattern field blouses. Modifications of the M33 field blouse had evolved into the M36 Field Blouse. This is an EM's issue tunic which has been upgraded to an NCO's rank. The high quality wool/rayon blend construction field blouse has 5 front closure buttons and the recognizable four, pleated, front pockets. The field blouse is having a nicely BeVo-woven breast-eagle hand applied. The collar is having original machine-sewn generic type collar-tabs and silver NCO braid period machine-sewn around the collar. The tunic is complete with a pair of slip-on type shoulder-straps as intended for an 'Oberfeldwebel der Infanterie'. The interior of the field blouse is partially lined in grey/tan coloured cotton. The tunic is nicely size marked with a chest-size of 90cms, the tunic is maker marked and dated 'M39' (München 1939). A 4-piece ribbon bar is attached to the tunic, together with a lanyard with bakelite whistle. The tunic comes together with a pair of early Stone Grey Breeches, the breeches are matching marked with the Munich depot marking 'M39' indicating 1939. The tunic is showing normal traces of usage and some minor (moth)damages, see photos. Stunning original pre-war M36 Field Blouse with Stone Grey Breeches!
This set originates from the collection of the former Eyewitness Museum, see last photo.
