WH (Heer) pre-war M36 straight legged stone grey combat field pants (Steingraue M36 Hose für Mannschaften). Originally the long pants were produced in stone grey fabric until 1940 when regulations dictated that newly produced long pants be constructed in field-grey fabric. This is a pair of early M36 trousers made of stone-grey (Steingraue) wool. The trousers have two, diagonally angled, front pockets and a small watch pocket. A strap and metal buckle is sewn on the back for tightening. The trousers are complete with all original buttons. The trousers are nicely maker marked and dated 1939 (H39). The trousers are in good used condition. There are some minor (moth)damages and/or repairs, see photos. This would make a nice match with a slightly worn M36 jacket and would make a great 1939/1940 Poland or Holland/Belgium/France display. Hard to fnd original pair pre-war stone grey trousers in good used condition!
