WH (Heer) M42 EM's 'Drillich' (HBT) Field Blouse (Feldbluse). The 1943 dated field blouse is complete with machine-sewn collar tabs and re-applied breast eagle and a pair of EM's 'Nachschub' shoulder straps. Nice original 'Drillich' field blouse in very good condition!

Description

WH (Heer) M42 'Drillich' (HBT) Summer Field Blouse (Feldbluse). The field blouse has four pockets with pointed flaps and field-grey finished, pebbled metal buttons. There is a six-button front closure using the same type of buttons. There is a lay flat collar with a metal hook and loop neck closure. The tunic has buttons and loops for slip-on shoulder boards. The field blouse is complete with a reapplied hand-sewn BeVo-woven breast eagle and a pair of original factory machine-sewn collar tabs. The interior is unlined, with tan/grey coloured cotton used for reinforcements at the seams and the small bandage pocket. The field blouse is showing size markings (chest size 98cms) and is dated 'WB43' indicating production in 1943. The field blouse comes with a pair of slip-on type shoulder straps as intended for a 'Soldat der Nachschubtruppen' (Transport Troops). The field blouse is in very good near mint condition, see photos. Great original mid war 'Drillich' summer field blouse!
