Wehrmacht (Heer) EM's M44 Field Blouse (Feldbluse M44). This is a nice original late war Italian gabardine construction M44 field blouse, it has 6 front closure buttons and two, non-pleated, front pockets. There is a lay flat collar with a metal hook and loop neck closure. The field blouse is having a nicely machine-sewn BeVo woven breast-eagle, the breast eagle has been reapplied once. The collar is complte with a pair of original machine-sewn BeVo type collar-tabs. The collar-tabs are having the basic generic grey branch colour, the different branches of service within the German army were allocated a particular identifying 'Waffenfarbe' (branch of service) color which was generally displayed on the collar tabs. An exception to this rule were the general service collar tabs (Einheitskragenspiegel) for EM/NCO personnel that did not utilize the branch of service color enabling them to be worn by personnel serving in all branches of service. Silver NCO braid is machine-sewn around the collar, the sewing thread of the NCO braid is glowing under UV-light indicating that this has probably been applied post-war. Shoulder-board loops and buttons are present. The right, front-closure panel lining is marked with black ink size markings (chest-size 90cms) and the tunic is dated 1944 (E.44). The field blouse is in used and worn condition showing normal traces of usage, see photos. Nice original late war gabardine construction M44 field blouse in good used condition!
