Wehrmacht (Heer) Mountain Trooper's Gauntlets/Gloves (Handschuhe für Gebirgstruppen). Due to their role in the potentially snowy mountainous regions Mountain troop personnel were issued a (winter) camouflage wind blouse as early as 1938. This is a pair of gloves as issued together with the wind blouse. The gloves are made of field-grey canvas with leather reinforcement panels. The gloves are not visible maker marked or dated. Nice original pair of Gebirgsjäger gloves in mint and unissued condition!
