WH (Heer) Summer Field Blouse

Description

WH (Heer) Cotton Summer Field Blouse (Sommer Feldbluse). The field blouse is made of captured Russian cotton cloth, the tunic has four, pleated, pockets and field-grey finished, pebbled metal buttons. There is a six-button front closure using the same type of buttons. There is a dark-green woolen lay flat collar with a metal hook and loop neck closure. The field blouse is complete with a machine embroidered BeVo-woven breast eagle which is machine-sewn to the tunic. A pair of standard EM's type collar tabs are orginally hand-sewn to the collar. The collar-tabs are having the basic generic grey branch colour, the different branches of service within the German army were allocated a particular identifying 'Waffenfarbe' (branch of service) color which was generally displayed on the collar tabs. An exception to this rule were the general service collar tabs (Einheitskragenspiegel) for EM/NCO personnel that did not utilize the branch of service color enabling them to be worn by personnel serving in all branches of service. NCO Braid is nicely machine-sewn around the collar of the tunic. The tunic has buttons and loops for slip-on shoulder boards, the tunic comes with an original early pair of M36-type shoulder-boards having the standard NCO's braid attached as intended for an 'Unteroffizier'. The interior of the tunic is unlined. The tunic is not visible marked or dated. The field blouse is in overall good used condition. Great original NCO's summer field blouse!
