WH (Heer) M42 'Drillich' (HBT) Field Blouse (Feldbluse). The field blouse has four pockets with pointed flaps and field-grey finished, pebbled metal buttons. There is a six-button front closure using the same type of buttons. There is a lay flat collar with a metal hook and loop neck closure. The tunic has loops for slip-on shoulder boards, the two buttons are missing. The breast-eagle and collar tabs have been removed, the original traces are clearly visible. The interior is unlined, with tan/grey coloured rayon used for reinforcements at the seams and the small bandage pocket. The closure seam is marked with ink size stamps (chest size 92cms) and the field blouse is nicely 'RB.Nr.' marked. The field blouse is in clearly worn condition showing some staining, see photos. Nice original late war 'Drillich' field blouse, this would make a nice restoration project!
