World War 2 Period modified US M3 Colt M1911 Shoulder Holster. Light brown leather shoulder holster for the Colt M1911 .45 pistol. Adopted in 1942, this holster was standard issue for aircraft and tank crews but also became popular in other armed services of the US Army including paratroopers. The leather holster is nicely maker marked by 'Enger-Kress'. The leather is a bit dry but overall flexible and complete. Rare original example in good used condition!
