MG Ammunition Box for Half Tracks/vehicles and/or Panzers (Gurttrommeln Kasten für Fahrzeuge). The box is painted in the standard late war ordnance tan paint, on top is stenciled in black 'MG-Munition'. It would contain six MG34/42 ammunition drum magazines, the box is complete with it's original often missing inner-frame. The metal box is approximately sized 44 x 26 x 17 cms. Carrying handle and both closing-clips are present and functional. The metal box is in overall good used condition and would be a nice display piece. Very rare and hard to find box!
