MG34 or MG42 vehicle mount ammo-box (Patronenkasten 36). This is the second pattern box with spring closure system. Nicely maker marked and dated 'orc 41' indicating production in 1941. Nice example in good used condition!

Description
MG34 or MG42 vehicle mount ammo-box (Patronenkasten 36). The Box was capable of carrying a 150 round ammunition belt and was designed for use on armoured vehicles. The box still has its original paint and shows some surface rust and scratches caused by usage. The box is nicely maker marked and dated 'orc 41' indicating production in 1941. This is the second pattern box with spring closure system. Nice example in good used condition!
