Description
MG34 or MG42 vehicle mount ammo-box (Patronenkasten 36). The Box was capable of carrying a 150 round ammunition belt and was designed for use on armoured vehicles. The box still retains most its original paint and shows some surface rust and scratches caused by usage. The box is not visible maker marked or dated. This is the first pattern box having a regular closure system which has been painted in tan, the rest of the box is fieldgrey. The box is in uncleaned condition as found. Nice example in good used condition!
