Universal Carrier MKII*
Unique opportunity to buy a complete high quality restored Canadian Universal Carrier No-2 MKII*, built April 1944. The vehicle was used widely by British Commonwealth forces during the Second World War. Universal Carriers were usually used for transporting personnel and equipment, mostly support weapons, or as machine gun platforms. The Universal Carrier is complete with original armour, original data plate (April 1944), all bogie-wheels have been re-rubbered, good tracks, both fuel tanks and good running engine, it drives and steers perfectly! This carrier has a lot of parts which are mostly gone like the stowage boxes, rifle brackets, aerial brackets, fenders, leather ammunition bags, starting handle, camouflaged netting bag, seats and others. Two stowage boxes are exactly reproduced as original, the other boxes are original. All functional electric and lights. Newly high quality produced seats using the same colour and material as used on original Universal Carriers. Please note: Bren Gun is not included and for display only.
