Waffen-SS EM/NCO's Visor Cap
Waffen-SS EM/NCO's Visor Cap (Schirmmütze). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. SS Officers and certain senior NCO ranks were responsible for purchasing their own uniforms and headgear. This is a nice quality, privately purchase, field-grey wool/tricot blend construction Officer's visor cap, the cap features a wide, black woolen centerband and white wool 'Waffenfarbe' piping to the top of the crown edge and both the top and bottom edges of the black woolen centerband. The interior of the cap is fully lined in a grey/tan rayon cloth, the cap is complete with a celluloid sweat-diamond. The brown coloured leather sweatband is in good used condition, there is some minor damage. The cap is not visible maker or size marked, the size is approximately a size '55'. The cap is complete with its original zinc type cap-eagle and cap-skull (Totenkopf). The cap shows normal traces of usage and wear with some minor (moth)damages, see photos, the cap is in overall good condition and has a great shape. Scarce and hard to find original SS EM/NCO's Visor Cap in good condition!
Waffen-SS Manschappen/Onderofficier's 'Schirmmütze'. Schirmmütze's waren een standaard hoofddeksel voor al het gewapende personeel tijdens het Derde Rijk. SS officieren en sommige onderofficier's rangen waren verantwoordelijk voor het zelf aanschaffen van hun uniformen en hoofddeksels. Dit is een goede kwaliteit privé aangekochtte, veld-grijze wollen/tricot Officiers Schirmmütze, de pet heeft een brede, zwarte wollen middenband en wollen biezen in de witte 'Waffenfarbe'. De pet heeft een voering in grijs/bruine kunstzijde, de pet is compleet met een celluloid diamant, er zijn geen zichtbare makers markeringen, de pet is ongeveer een maat '55'. De bruin lederen zweetband is in goede gebruikte staat, er is een kleine beschadiging. De pet is compleet met zijn originele zink-type pet-adelaar en pet-doodshoofdje (Totenkopf). De pet vertoont normale gebruiks- en draagsporen en wat lichte (mot)schade, zie foto's. De pet is in algeheel goede staat en heeft een prachtige vorm en uitstraling. Zeldzame en moeilijk te vinden originele SS Manschappen/Onderofficier's Schirmmütze in goede staat!
