This is a nice original Waffen-SS Visor Cap Skull (Totenkopf). The SS visor cap skull was first introduced for wear on 6 October 1934 and replaced the earlier 'Danziger' style skulls. The late-war type skull is made of zinc, it is regrettably missing all three integral prongs. The skull is not visible maker marked but can be attributed to production by the company of 'F.W. Assmann' from Lüdenscheid. Nice original late war example in used condition!
