Wehrmacht M31 Mess Kit (Kochgeschirr 31). The 'Kochgeschirr 31' was introduced on 23 March 1931. This is a nice original aluminum and steel construction mess kit. The non-matching mess kit is maker marked with 'HRE 40' and 'HWSD 40', both indicating production in 1940. The mess kit still retains most of its original darker fieldgrey paint. The mess kit is in uncleaned condition as found. Nice original example in used condition!
