This is a nice original Wehrmacht chocolate ration-tin 'Scho-ka-kola', this is a 1941 dated example. This was a by the German troops much loved 'special ration' of high-energy chocolate, used as 'emergency food' at the front. The empty tin is in overall nice used condition, some scratches and normal wear is visible and some small rust spots. The empty tin won't open. These chocolate tins were ment for military use: 'Wehrmacht-Packung'. Maker marked by the 'Hildebrand Kakao- und Schokoladenfabrik' from Berlin. Very nice and desirable original item!
