Wehrmacht Bakelite Binocular Case & Carrying Strap (Behälter für Doppelfernrohr). The German army used a wide variety of optical enhancement items with the 6 x 30 power binoculars being the standard issue optics utilized by all branches of service. This bakelite case is intended for storage of the standard 6 x 30 binoculars (Dienstglas). The dark brown bakelite case is in good used condition and there is a marking on the bakelite. The case is complete with its often missing original leather carrying strap. The case can be carried on the belt as well. The case and carrying strap are in overall good used condition, see photos.
