WH (Heer) Artillery Officer's Field Blouse
Wehrmacht (Heer) Officer's Tunic as intended for a 'Leutnant der Artillerie'. The German Officer’s service tunic followed the basic design of the Enlisted Men/NCO’s field blouse, the most readily visible difference (besides the insignia) are the turned up French cuffs. This is a nice quality, 'privately purchased' M36-style field-grey wool tunic with dark-green collar. The tunic is in overall very good condition with minor traces of usage. The buttons are all the field-grey pebbled examples. The tunic is complete with all insignia, including a nicely hand-embroidered breast-eagle, shoulder boards and officer's type collar tabs. The tunic looks overall in untouched condition. Both the collar tabs and sew-in type shoulder-boards are piped in the red 'Truppenfarbe' (branch colour) indicating the Artillery. The tunic is not visible maker marked or dated. The tunic is complete with internal dagger hangers. The left breastpocket is showing loops to attach an award, it comes with a rare GWL General Assault Badge which unfortunately is missing the catch, it was found with the tunic and will be included with the tunic for free. Nice original Artillery officer's field blouse in very good condition!
