Wehrmacht (Heer) K98 Dress Bayonet (Extraseitengewehr). This is a private purchase version of the S84/98 bayonet for dress wear. This is the short model for Officer's ranks. The bayonet was, accompanied by a bayonet frog, to be worn on the reverse left side of the load carrying waist belt. The blade is in good condition, the blade is not visible maker marked. The scabberd is showing some normal traces of usage and some surface rust. Nice original dress bayonet in good used condition!
