Wehrmacht (Heer) M43 Field Blouse (Feldbluse M43) & matching M44 Trousers (M44 Hose für Mannschaften). The M43 field blouse was basically a continuation of the modifications of the M33 field blouse which had evolved into the M36, the M40 and the M42 field blouses. The separate belt support hook suspenders have now been replaced by short integral straps. This is a late war last ditch South Front (Südfront) style field blouse constructed of tan coloured Italian so-called 'Olona' cotton, it has 6 front closure buttons and the recognizable four, non-pleated, front pockets. The field blouse is having a nicely original machine-sewn tropical style BeVo-woven breast-eagle, and a pair of original machine-sewn tropical type collar-tabs. Shoulder-board loops and buttons are present, the field blouse comes with a pair of gabardine looking shoulder-straps I've not seen before, these are included for free. The interior is mostly unlined, with dark-olive cotton used for reinforcements at the seams and for the inner pocket. The tunic is nicely RB.Nr. marked. The right, front-closure panel lining is marked with size-stamps (chest-size 96cms) and the field blouse is dated 1944 (M44). The field blouse comes together with a matching pair of late war straight legged M44 trousers, also constructed in the tan coloured so-called Italian 'Olona' cloth. The trousers have two, diagonally angled, front pockets and a small watch pocket. The trousers are matching marked and dated 'M44'.
