Wehrmacht (Heer) Officer's Dagger Scabberd (Scheide zum Heeres Offiziersdolch). The dress dagger was designed by Berlin graphic artist 'Paul Casberg' and was officially approved for wear on '4 May 1935' along with specifically styled dagger hangers and a new pattern portepee. The scabbard with a random pebbled pattern to both the obverse and reverse and smooth side panels. The scabberd is showing one dent and is missing the small screw. It is probably intended for an 'Alcoso' dagger. The scabberd is in good used condition. Single scabberds are hard to find, perfect piece to complete a dagger with!
