This is a nice original WHW (Winterhilfswerke) 'Mit Brüdern in Not teile dein Brot' commemorative stoneware plate (Wandteller). This plate could only be acquired through a special donation of at least RM 25.00 and upwards. This green ceramic plate is a commemorative plate showing an eagle in it's central design, surrounded by the script 'WHW - Kreis Duisburg 1937-38'. The plate could be hung on the wall. The plate is having a diameter of approximately 27cms. The plate is in very good condition without damages. Only a small amount of these plates have been issued, even less survived the war. Rare and decorative original piece!
