Description

Prussian Golden Merit Cross with Case and Outer Carton (Verdienstkreuz in Gold im Überkarton). The Prussian Merit Cross was a meritorious service decoration of Prussia. The case and outer carton are the same as can be used for the earlier pre-WW1 Military Merit Cross, also be known as the "Pour le Mérite for non-commissioned officers and enlisted men".
