Etched German M1871 Short Sword (Faschinenmesser). The blade is nicely etched with "Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit" on side and "5.Bad.Feld.Artillerie.Regt.76" on the other side, the etching is heavily decorated showing a nice cavalry horse. The blade is marked by distributer 'J.R. Schottmüller' from Freiburg im Breisgau. It comes with a privately made leather scabberd. Nice sword bayonet in good condition!
