The donald duck cap is complete with a '3.XII.Matr.Artillerie-Abtl.XII.3.' cap-tally, executed in silver flat-wire thread in a 'BeVo' like weave-pattern, the tally is slightly damaged at the back. The donald duck cap is nicely marked with 'B.A.W.' (Bekleidungs Amt Wilhelmshaven) and dated 1918, hard to read, see photos. The cap is showing a unit marking inside, matching with the tally. The cap is named to sailor 'Klaiber'. The sweatband is slightly damaged, see photos. A nice and scarce original WW1 German Navy Donald Duck Cap in good used condition!
