This is a nice World War 1 Period German Photo-Album from a soldier within a medical (Sanitäts) unit. The small sized photo-album contains 96 photographs in the 6 x 4,5 cms format. Some photos have been described on the back indicating that this soldier saw service in Northern France. The photos are clearly showing red-cross armbands and medical carriages.
