This is a nice German World War 1 metal tent-herring/peg (Zeltpflöcke). These 'herrings' were standard issue for all German soldiers. The herring is nicely maker marked and dated with 'PAR 16' indicating production in 1916. The peg is complete with its original rope. Nice example in good used condition!
Dit is een mooie Duitse Eerste Wereldoorlog metalen tent-haring (Zeltpflöcke). Deze tent-haringen waren standaard uitrusting voor alle Duitse soldaten. De tent-haring is mooi maker gemarkeerd en gedateerd met 'PAR 16' wat duid op productie in 1916. De tent-haring is compleet met zijn originele touwtje. Mooi exemplaar in goede gebruikte staat!
