Cased DRK Merit Cross
Rare original cased DRK Merit Cross (Verdienstkreuz des Deutschen Roten Kreuzes), 1937-1939. The 1937-1939 DRK awards recognized loyal service in the DRK. The enamelled breast-cross (Steckkreuz) is having a DRK eagle with Swastika attached to its center. The cross has no enamel damage whatsoever and is in overall fine condition, the details on the piece are really pronounced and stunning. The cross comes naturally on it's functional pin/catch construction. The cross comes in it's original red case of issue, the case is in good condition with some normal usage to the corners. This cross was recently found in a private household in Germany, together with the other DRK awards I've listed. These cased breast-crosses are hardly ever offered for sale. Scarce original cross in top condition!
