Civil Pilot's badge

Description

This is a stunning original German Luftwaffe Civil Pilot's badge (Zivil-Flugzeugführerabzeichen). The Civil Pilot's Badge was originally introduced on 1 April 1936 by order of 'Hermann Göring'. The badge was awarded to civilian personnel who completed the theory and training and achieved their civilian pilot’s licence and served at least for 1 year within the Luftwaffe. This badge is a nice early example made of tombac (Buntmetall). The badge is not visible maker marked but can be attributed to production by the company of 'C.E. Juncker' in Berlin SW. The badge shows very nice & pronounced detail overall, there is only some little wear (ie. scratches/chips) to the enamel, see photos. The badge has naturally a functional pin & catch construction. Desirable and rare original civil pilot's badge!
