HJ 1933 Pattern Visor Cap
Hitler-Jugend 1933 Pattern Visor Cap (HJ Schirmmütze/Dienstmütze M33). With uniform regulations of 1933 the Visor Cap for the HJ was introduced. The cap is piped in the general red-coloured (Oberbann 1) piping, the piping has regrettably been heavily moth-damaged. The interior of the cap is fully lined in an orange oilcloth, the cap is nicely maker marked by the company of 'Carl Happe' from Lüdenscheid, the lining is marked with 'Wasserdicht' which indicated that the lining was waterproof. A nice RZM tag (Mütze für HJ-DJ) has been sewn onto the lining material. The leather sweatband is in good condition, the name 'H.W. Paul' has been pierced into the sweatband. The cap is complete with it's original early type political cap eagle and HJ diamond shaped cap-badge. The cap is having a blackened leather chinstrap in good condition. The cap is having an early style leather visor. Besides the moth damage at the piping the cap is showing some normal traces of usage. Nice and hard to find original early style HJ Visor cap in good used condition!
