LW 'Frontflugspange für Transportflieger' in Gold
WH (Luftwaffe) 'Frontflugspange für Transport- und Luftlandeflieger' in Gold (Transport and Glider Squadron Clasp in Gold). The Transport and Glider Squadron Clasp was introduced by 'Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring' on 19 November 1941. The clasps were awarded in three grades of, Bronze for twenty operational flights, Silver for sixty operational flights, and Gold for one hundred ten operational flights. This clasp is a very nice early 'Buntmetall' (tombak) example. The clasp is not visible maker marked. The clasp has naturally a functional pin & catch construction. The clasp shows great detail and still retains all of it's original golden finish. It's showing great details. Hard to find clasp in good condition!

De 'Frontflugspange für Transport- und Luftlandeflieger' werd ingevoerd door 'Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring' op 19 november 1941. De Spange werd uitgereikt in drie klasses, bronze voor twintig operationele vluchten, zilver voor zestig operationele vluchten en goud voor honderdtien operationele vluchten. Dit is een erg mooie vroege uitvoering in 'Buntmetall'. De Spange is niet zichtbaar maker gemarkeerd. Vanzelfsprekend heeft de Spange zijn volledig werkende originele naald en haak. De spange toont prachtige details en bevat nog al zijn originele gouden finish en toont mooie details. Moeilijk te vinden spange in goede staat!
