Waffen-SS M42 Camouflage Smock (Tarnjacke). This is an M42 type 2 smock having the angled lower pockets. The smock is showing a printed, reversible, Blurred Edge (Rauchtarnmuster) camouflage pattern camouflage. The camouflage pattern has distinctly different colorations to the summer and autumn sides. The smock was closed by a cloth closure tie string, the tie string is regrettably not present. The elastic elastic around the waistline and the tunnel looped elastics at each cuff are in good condition. The reversible pocket bags are constructed in standard fieldgrey HBT cotton. The sleeves have open vented armpits. The fooliage loops are still present. The smock has no visible manufacturer’s or size markings. The smock is showing some minor traces of usage, there are some small damages and/or repairs, take a look at the photos for more details. The smocks were designed large enough to fit over the standard field uniform, so it will fit a mannequin easily. Hard to find original Waffen-SS Camouflage Smock (Knittel). This smock will make a stunning Waffen-SS combat display!
