Luftwaffe Belt Buckle on leather tab
Luftwaffe EM/NCO's belt-buckle (Koppelschloß mit Lederwiderhalt). Nice aluminum construction first pattern box buckle with crank-catch, complete with its original leather tab. 'L.B.A.' marked and maker marked by a company from Osnabrück and dated 1935. Nice example in very good condition!

Description
WH (Luftwaffe) EM/NCO's aluminum belt-buckle that comes on it's original leather tab (Koppelschloß mit Lederwiderhalt). Originally the EM/NCO’s buckles were produced with a silver finish until a blue/grey version was introduced around mid-1940, and a tropical olive drab version was introduced in late 1940. Nice early first pattern aluminum example, showing the so-called 'droop-tail' eagle and having the rarer crank-type catch. The leather tab is nicely 'L.B.A.' (Luftwaffe Bekleidungs Amt) marked and maker marked by a company from Osnabrück and dated 1935. The buckle is showing normal traces of usage. Rare and hard to find example in very good condition!
