This is a nice tailor-made 2-piece medal-bar (Ordenspange), consisting of a War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords (Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern) and a 1 October 1938 Medal (Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1 Oktober 1938). Both medals are in very good condition. The medals are nicely period mounted on a medal-bar for wear on the 'walking-out' tunic. The medal-bar is mounted on a metal-plate with a tan coloured backing and comes with its functional pin/catch set-up. Nice original medal-bar in very good condition!
