WH (Luftwaffe) EM/NCO's aluminumbelt & buckle (Koppel mit Koppelschloß). Originally the EM/NCO’s buckles were produced with a silver finish until a blue/grey version was introduced around mid-1940, and a tropical olive drab version was introduced in late 1940. Nice early first pattern aluminum example, showing the so-called 'droop-tail' eagle and having the rarer crank-type catch. The buckle is not visible maker marked or dated, the buckle is showing minor traces of usage, there is some small rust on the prong-bar. The buckle comes together with it's original chocolate brown 90cms long sized leather belt as found together. The belt is nicely maker marked and dated 1939. The belt is showing a 'L.B.A.(S)' (Luftwaffe Bekleidungs Ampt) marking. Rare and hard to find original early Luftwaffe belt & buckle in very good condition!
