Cased Luftwaffe Squadron Clasp for Reconnaissance Personal in Gold (Frontflugspange für Aufklärer). The Squadron Clasp for Reconnaissance Personal was introduced by 'Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring' on 30 January 1941. The clasps were awarded in three grades of, Bronze for twenty operational flights, Silver for sixty operational flights, and Gold for one hundred ten operational flights. This is a nice early tombak clasp. The clasp is nicely maker marked by the company of 'Imme & Sohn' from Berlin. The clasp has naturally a functional pin & catch construction. The clasp still retains all of its original gold finish and is showing stunning details. The clasp comes together with its original case as found together. The case is in very good condition and showing minimal traces of usage and some damage at the corners. Stunning original cased clasp in very good condition!
