'Der Stahlhelmbund' Tunic & Visor Cap
'N.S. Deutscher Frontkämpfer-Bund (Stahlhelm)' Tunic and Visor Cap (Schirmmütze) as intended for a member within the 'Gau Magdeburg'. 'Der Stahlhelmbund' was conceived as a national veterans' organization by 'Franz Seldte' in November 1918. Early Stahlhelmbund tunic, complete with collar-tabs, BeVo woven sleeve patch 'Magdeburg', 'Gau Magdeburg' cufftitle, Swastika Armband and a special green/red coloured armband with the printed on text 'Hier steht Magdeburg' (Magdeburg is here). The privatly purchased type field grey wool cap is having dark-green piping, the cap is complete with its original early political type cap-eagle, cocarde and Stahlhembund Cap Badge. The cap is having a black patent leather chinstrap. The cap is nicely maker marked and size '57' marked. The tunic and cap are in overall very good condition making a great ensamble and will for sure be a great start for a Stahlhembund display!
