Dutch M27 Combat Helmet (Stalen Helm Model 27). The stamped sheet steel construction M27 helmet retains almost all of its original smooth dark grey-green paint. All liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is a leather liner complete with felt protection and original liner-cord. The liner is nicely maker marked and dated 'CM1932' (Centraal-Magazijn). A unique label with the soldier's service-number and unit is sewn on one of the felt protection pads indicating that this soldier was a member of the engineer corps (Genietroepen). There are some normal damages and scratches caused by usage. The helmet is complete with its original chinstrap. Nice original Dutch combat helmet in good used condition!
