'Julfest 1944' Porcelain Plate (Julteller). Made by the famous 'Allach' company. The plate was a gift from the head of the SS Economic and Administrative Main Office, SS-Obergruppenführer and General of the Waffen-SS Pohl. The front is showing a poem from "Die Weihe der Nacht" by Hebbel. Written on the reverse "1944 Ihnen und Ihrer Sippe wünsche ich ein gesegnetes Julfest und ein gutes Neues Jahr - Pohl SS-Obergruppenführer u. General der Waffen SS" (1944 I wish you and your family a blessed Yule and a Happy New Year - Pohl SS-Obergruppenführer and General of the Waffen SS). The plate is having one small damage/repair, see close-up photos. Otherwise in good condition. Decorative original plate!
