K98 M34 Cleaning Kit, complete with contents (Reinigungsgerät 34 mit Inhalt). When issued the K98 came accompanied with assorted accessory items including a sling, a cleaning rod, a protective muzzle cover and a M34 cleaning kit that was officially introduced on 4 September 1934 and was utilized with all bolt action rifles. The cleaning kit is nicely maker marked by the company of 'Hawig' from Berlin-Tiergarten and dated 1940. The kit is complete with a metal oiler, takedown-tool, chain and 2 brushes. The metal oiler, takedown-tool and chain are all matching  marked with 'Hawig'. Nice original matching set in good used condition!
