Luftwaffe 'Legion Condor' Cufftitle (Ärmelband). This cufftitle was introduced on 12 June 1939. This cufftitle was to be worn by all members of the 'Kampfgeschwader 53', 'Flak Regiment 9' and the 'Luftnachrichten Regiment 3', in commemoration of those airmen who fought in the Condor Legion during the Spanish Civil War of 1936-39. This is an EM/NCO's version, the blue wool construction cufftitle is showing the nicely hand-embroidered script 'Legion Condor' in off-white cotton threads. The cufftitle has the typical opened back construction with the top and bottom edges folded over the reverse. The cufftitle is in very good clearly used and tunic removed condition and it still sewn together. Stunning original truly worn Legion Condor cufftitle!
