Luftwaffe M35 Double Decal Camouflage Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M35). The steel construction M35 helmet retains most of its thick tan/brown camouflage overpaint, a Luftwaffe decal is clearly visible, te national shield looks te be visible beneath the camouflage overpaint on the other side of the helmet. The paint is showing normal scratches and traces of usage, see photos. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is a M31 leather liner with all eight fingers intact and the original liner cord is present as well, the leather is in good condition, see photos. The shell is marked with maker and size 'Q66'. 'Q' is indicating production by the company of 'F.W. Quist, G.m.b.H.' in Esslingen. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number '4780' and the name 'Gefr. Jacobi' is painted inside the helmet which indicates his rank of 'Gefreiter' and name 'Jacobi'. The helmet is complete with its original 1940 dated chinstrap. Stunning original Luftwaffe Camouflage Helmet!
