This is a nice original Wehrmacht MP38/40 Magazine Pouch (MP38 u. MP40 Magazintasche). Soldiers equipped with the MP38/40 were issued a pair of magazine pouches which each held three thirty-two round magazines.This is a left side pouch with an additional compartment where a speed loader was kept. This pouch is made of green coloured canvas with blackened leather straps, the leather straps are in good and still supple condition. The pouch is having closure flaps made of HBT material, see photos. The pouch is not visible maker marked or dated, the pouch is most likely made by the manufacturer 'ddk'. Hard to find original MP38/40 magazine pouch in good used condition!
