Waffen-SS Tropical Sleeve-Eagle
Description
Product Images
This is a nice Waffen-SS ('tropical') golden-yellow coloured sleeve-eagle (Ärmeladler) executed in the so-called BeVo-weave pattern. The tropical version of the Waffen-SS sleeve eagle was introduced in december 1942 for wear on the tropical uniforms. This machine woven version was to be worn by EM/NCO’s. These arm-eagles were also worn on the M44 'Dot-pattern' camouflaged, 4-pocket-tunics. The eagle is executed in golden-yellow linnen on a black linnen background. The eagle is a bit wrinkled caused by years of storage. Nice original example in good unissued condition!
