Wehrmacht 'Führerhauptquartier' Cufftitle (Ärmelband). This is a second pattern 'Führerhauptquartier' Cufftitle as introduced on 15 January 1941. The cufftitle shows two silver coloured 'braid-based' borders and the neatly hand-embroidered script 'Führerhauptquartier' in silver bullion threads, embroidered in the 'Sütterlin' script. The cufftitle has the typical opened back construction with the top and bottom edges folded over the reverse. The cufftitle measures approximately 39cms in length and is in clearly used and tunic removed condition. The cufftitle is in showing normal traces of usage and would serve perfect to restore a Führerhauptquartier tunic with. Desirable original cufftitle of an interesting unit!
