Wehrmacht (Heer) M43 'Keilhose' - Combat Field Pants (Rundbundhosen 43). The 'Keilhose' combat field trousers were patterned after the Mountain troopers trousers and were introduced by an order of 28 june 1943 to replace the previously used straight legged trousers. The trousers are made of fieldgrey woolen cloth. Stitched along the upper edge of the waistband, four buttoned tabs can alternatively be used as belt keepers or to secure braces. A strap and metal buckle is sewn on each hip for tightening. The trousers are nicely size marked, double RB.Nr. marked and dated 1944 (WB44), a matching paper label is still sewn to the trousers. There is one tiny moth nip, see photo. This pair of trousers is in stunning mint and unissued condition with paper tag still attached, these are very hard to find in this condition. Great pair of mint condition M43 trousers!
