WH (Heer) 'Nachrichten' EM/NCO's Visor Cap
WH (Heer) 'Nachrichten' (Signals) EM/NCO's Visor Cap (Schirmmütze). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is a nice privately purchased EM/NCO's example. Complete with celluloid manufacturers sweat-diamond ('Raute'), maker marked with the logo of the 'Kasseller Mützenfabrik'. The cap is size 56 marked, the cap is complete with a name-tag named to a soldier named 'Rothenbücher'. The Visor cap is piped in the bright-yellow (Zitronengelb) 'Truppenfarbe' (branch-colour) for Signals personnel. The simulated leather sweatband is in good used condition. The cap is complete with its original early style cap-eagle and original aluminum cocarde. The cap is showing some normal traces of usage and some minor moth damages, see photos. The cap has a great shape (Sattelform). Nice original visor cap in good used condition!
