This is a nice matching pair of WH (Heer) Shoulder Strap 'slip-ons' ('Überschübe') as intended for a soldier within the 'Landesschützen-Bataillon 881'. The pair is showing the nicely 'chain-stitched' embroidered regimental numbers 'L 881' in white on a fieldgrey woolen background. The white  branch-colour is indicating a soldier within an Infantery unit. The pair is in mint and unissued condition, still sewn together. Nice original pair!
