WH (Heer) Tropical Belt (Tropen Koppel). Later during the war these tropical belts were, due to leather shortages, issued in all theatres of battle. The 85cms long green/fieldgrey coloured webbing belt is complete with its leather tongue. The belt is ink-stamped with its size. The belt is nicely maker marked and dated 1941. The metal catch retains most of its original field-grey paint. Nice original (tropical) belt in clearly used and worn condition!

This belt originates from the collection of the recently closed Eyewitness Museum and was in display in the diorama in the last picture!
